Greetings fellow film fanatics, welcome back to MOVIETUBE. Today we'll be having a look at some upcoming films which are expected to make big earnings at the box office.



1. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Set to be the 5th installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, this American fantasy swashbuckler film, co-directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, stars Johnny Depp, Kevin McNally and Geoffrey Rush who will be reprising their roles as Captain Jack Sparrow, Joshamee Gibbs and Hector Barbossa respectively.  The films also features the return of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann respectively, following their absence from the 4th installment, On Stranger Tides. It will be released in conventional, Disney Digital 3-D, RealD,3D and IMAX 3D formats on May 2017.

Plot Overview: Captain Jack Sparrow is pursued by an old rival, Armando Salazar, who along with his Spanish Navy ghost crew has escaped from the Devil's Triangle, and is determined to kill every pirate at sea. Jack seeks the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its possessor total control over the seas, in order to defeat Salazar.

2.  Alien: Covenant

Alien: Covenant is an upcoming American science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott. It is the sequel to the 2012 film Prometheus and is the second installment in the Alien prequel series. It is scheduled to be released on 12 May in 3D, 2D and IMAX3D.

Plot Overview: Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy the crew of the colony ship Covenant, which includes Walter, an android similiar to David, a survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition, find what they believe to be an uncharted paradise. It soon reveals itself to be a dark and dangerous world inhabited by the original David and monstrous creatures that start to hunt them.

3. The Mummy 

The Mummy is an upcoming American film directed by Alex Kurtzman and written by Jon Spaiths and Christopher McQuarrie. It is a reboot of The Mummy franchise and is intended to be the first installment in the Universal Monsters shared universe. The film stars Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella Annabelle Wallis,  Jake Johnson, Courtney.B.Vance and Russell Crowe. The film is scheduled to be released on June 9, 2017 in 3D,2D and IMAX3D.

Plot Overview: 2,000 years ago, as punishment for killing her father, Princess Ahmanet (Sofia Boutella) was buried alive beneath the sands of Egypt. After her tomb is rediscovered and opened in modern times, she is resurrected, bringing with her a malevolent grudge that has grown over millennia and terrors that will defy all humanity.
