Hello once again Movietubers, I’ve
preparing to recommend another amazing movie for all the fans of fiction film!
Let’s check it out!
Film name: Edge of Tomorrow
Edge of Tomorrow (or called by its tagline Live.Die.Repeat.)
is a military science fiction film directed by Doug Liman in 2014 based on the
Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.
Plot Summary:
When an alien race called Mimics invaded planet, these
London became the last resistance in the Old Continent. Our main character, the
Major William Cage became the only candidate to defeating the Mimics. However,
William Cage does not accept this high risky assignment in case to threaten his
General Brigham. As result Cage is been arrested and lowered to private prepare
to fight in the frontline against the Mimics. In the first battle, Cage had
killed a Mimics by accident, Mimics’ blood is
sprayed over Cage’s body the he died. Nevertheless,
very surprisingly, Cage wake up at the same morning as the first day been
lowered to the private. This situation happens over and over again every time
after Cage died. As Cage starting to get used to the situation happening, he
meets Sergeant Rita Vrataski that has the same abilities as him and find the
answer……
My Opinions:
This is the first time travel movie I’ve
been seen. As the first time I’ve heard
about what is about in the movie is totally non sense at all in my perspective,
(simply just mean: don’t understand
what are you talk about!) Nevertheless, as I take time to watch it, I’ve really been surprised by the way of repeating scenes
presenting in the movie, it will not make people feel tired and boring about
keep watching the same kind of scene. Each scene has added in some more details
in the dialogues, aspects of the battleground. In this case, audience can
understand the storyline more clearly and more information about the Mimics
which there is not clear descriptions provided in the film. So for the
character, William Cage are developing his understanding of the facts of the
Mimics due to the increment understanding along the repetitive scenes Which I
believe is very smart way to directing a movie like this, and actually done in
a very good job!
